1. Scope and controller
CalcDuo is operated by Epik Bilgi Teknolojileri, which is the controller for personal information covered by this policy. Privacy and data-protection requests can be sent to info@calcduo.com.
Tools can be used without creating an account. The service does not seek to build user profiles; values entered into health, loan, salary, tax or similar calculators are processed only to provide the result requested by the user.
2. Information we process
- Technical data such as request time, IP address, device and browser type, requested path, error and security logs.
- Amounts, rates, health measurements or other values entered into a tool when needed to produce an online result. Bank-account details, card numbers and payment history are not requested, and calculation values are not used to create a user profile.
- For compression, PDF and conversion tools, only the file selected by you, the requested operation or formats, and job status.
- An aggregate usage record limited to a random operation identifier, tool identifier, time, channel, site/language and fixed tool-page path to identify popular tools and channels. For Chrome extensions, the technical extension name, version, store ID and operation surface such as popup, context menu or side panel are also recorded. Inputs, results, file names, file contents, IP addresses, device/browser information and the full URL of the page visited are excluded.
3. Information stored on your device
Language and light/dark theme choices, favorites, recent tools, calculation history and extension file-operation history may be stored locally. History can include inputs, result summaries and processed file names so that you can view them again.
You can remove this information with app or extension controls, by clearing browser data, or by uninstalling/clearing the app or extension.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the requested calculation, compression/PDF operation or conversion and operate the service: performance of a contract and legitimate interests.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse and troubleshoot: legitimate interests and legal obligations.
- Optional web analytics and, where required, personalized advertising: consent.
- Respond to lawful requests and retain required records: legal obligations.
5. Chrome extensions and Limited Use
The extensions connect to hesapdahi.com when Chrome or the operating-system language is Turkish and to calcduo.com for other languages. When a file, image or text is selected from a context menu, only the resource explicitly chosen by that user action is processed. The full active-tab URL is not sent to the API or stored in the usage record.
The use and transfer of information received through the Chrome extensions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the visible feature requested by the user, protect security, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. It is not sold or used for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Humans may read this information only with explicit user consent, for security or abuse investigation, to comply with law, or for internal development after aggregation and anonymization. The extensions do not download remotely hosted executable code or display advertising.
6. Providers and international transfers
We may use hosting, security and Google Mobile Ads providers. Some tools contact the data source identified on the tool screen. Providers may use infrastructure in other countries; applicable safeguards are used where a transfer is required.
7. Analytics, cookies and advertising
Web analytics loads only after you allow it in the cookie preference panel. The mobile app does not use Firebase Analytics; successful tool operations are added only to an anonymous aggregate count.
When enabled by the administration panel, the mobile app may use Google AdMob for banner ads only. In regions where consent is required, Google’s consent form is shown before ad requests and can be reopened from app settings. The Chrome extensions do not display advertising.
8. Retention
- Local preferences, favorites and history remain on your device until you remove them or clear app data.
- File compression, PDF and conversion jobs expire after 30 minutes; input and output files are removed by automatic cleanup. If infrastructure is interrupted, any remnants are removed by a lifecycle rule within 24 hours.
- Technical and security logs are limited to the period needed for security, troubleshooting and legal duties.
- Web analytics data follows the configured retention period of the relevant provider.
9. Your rights and choices
- Reject or change web analytics from the Privacy Choices page.
- The mobile app has no usage analytics; reopen ad privacy options from Settings when available.
- Clear local history, remove favorites and delete app or extension data.
- Depending on your location, request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent at any time.
10. Security, children and changes
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used, but no internet transmission is completely secure. The service is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly seek information from children who require parental consent.
This policy may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The current version is published here with a revised date.
